What should I expect after registering for livestream?

You will receive an email from our streaming provider he day before the course begins. The email will contain a link to access the livestream and course resources, which include access to PDFs of presentations. 

What are the system requirements for the livestream?

For ideal viewing and participation, you should have access to the following:

  • Compatible computer with the minimum specifications of either Mac IS x 10.6 or Windows 7 with latest updates installed and four gigabytes (GB) of random access memory (RAM)
  • Smartphone compatible with all modern mobile browsers (i.e., iOS for Apple and Android-based tablets and smartphones)
  • Adobe Flash Plug-in
  • Web browsers: Firefox 1.1+, Internet Explorer 10.0+, Safari 1.0+, Edge, Chrome, or Opera
  • High-speed internet connection with a consistent internet download speed of three megabits per second (Mbps); test the speed and performance of your internet connection at

Note: Some corporate networks and internet service providers block video transmissions by use of a firewall. If you cannot see video clips (even though your system meets the system requirements), contact your network administrator to see whether a security firewall is blocking video transmission.

What if I want to cancel my virtual event registration?

Standard American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) live course cancellation policies will apply.

What if I'm not satisfied with the virtual experience?
